This Sunday, Showtime's political thriller crime drama, "Homeland" is set to air the fifth episode from its season 6. Fans and loyal viewers of the series cannot keep their excitement over the events that are going to happen and the revelations awaiting to be discovered in the upcoming episode.

On the most recent episode aired on "Homeland" season 6, titled "A Flash of Light", it featured scenarios that are reportedly a bit different from the series' real narrative. According to Entertainment Weekly, the approach and theme prepared on the previous episode were not exactly the one that is expected to happen by the fans and viewers.

Instead of dealing with a direct threat from a specific villain, the previous episode of "Homeland" season 6 reportedly focused on making the FBI look bad for the members not doing their jobs properly regarding on spotting the real terrorists. Aside from this, the characters that fans have been siding on for doing good things are apparently the one threatening other characters now.

Unsurprisingly, the fourth episode of "Homeland" season 6 ended with a real problem that fans would hope the upcoming episode will provide a meaningful solution. According to TV Guide, the upcoming episode will still not be looking good for the series' main character, Carrie Mathison, portrayed by Claire Danes. Carrie will reportedly be in trouble again because of her struggles with keeping her personal and professional life separate.

On the official synopsis for "Homeland" season 6's upcoming episode, it was apparently hinted that there might be a huge debacle that is going to happen to the characters. Moreover, this can be supported by the title of the upcoming fifth episode, "Casus Belli", which reportedly means it involves war.

Also included on the reported spoilers for episode 5 of "Homeland" season 6 is Elizabeth Marvel's character, United States' president Elizabeth Keane. She will reportedly be involved in a series of life-threatening and tension-filled events, and even on scenarios that she will completely not have the power to do a single thing.
