Nintendo Switch fans have good news to celebrate, as the company takes online multiplayer back to the console. Nintendo has recently announced plans to have an open beta for 'Splatoon 2', before revealing details about how online multiplayer feature is going to work on the new Nintendo device.

'Splatoon 2' is going to feature a new Splatoon game mode that called Private Battle Spectator View. According to Nintendo, this mode in the Nintendo Switch will "allow up to two non-players to participate in a Private Battle as camera operators in observing all the action from multiple angles".

Additionally, a new feature which called as LAN Play will also be added to 'Splatoon 2', allowing up to 10 docked systems, eight players and two spectators, to connect via wired LAN. Nintendo adds, "This feature allows players to create local Private Battle tournaments without the need for an internet connection in the Nintendo Switch. A local wireless play is the perfect for your regular gaming get-togethers, but LAN Play is for when you want to organize a serious tournament event with your fellow players."

Nintendo is holding a 'Splatoon 2' open beta in the month of March that will be giving gamers six separate opportunities to test the game before the launch for Nintendo Switch. The 'Splatoon 2' Global Testfire event is having six separate one-hour multiplayer sessions, which will be running from March 24 to March 26. Players will be able to test out four main weapons, including the new Splat Dualies. However, the map details are yet to be revealed, as per Express.

The launch of the Nintendo Switch is imminent on March 3rd. There are already many games announced for the platform, and surely sufficiently to be excited about. From the motion controlled game 'ARMS' to Mario's latest 'Mario: Odyssey', the first year is looking very promising. According to GeekSnack, 'Snipperclips' will be available for download from the Nintendo e-shop at launch. It is a cooperative puzzle game, in the game up to 4 players will have to cut pieces out of each other in order to solve each level. There are multiple ways to complete each task, so creativity is the key. It has the opportunity to showcase Nintendo's investment in smaller will make great use of the multiple joy-con configurations in Nintendo Switch.

It has also been said that 'Snipperclips' was the sleeper hit at the recent Nintendo Switch launch event, but we will have to wait until March 3rd to see if it lives up to the hype. Nintendo has repeatedly reiterated that the console will receive full support from third party developers, as the Switch was first announced.
