Giuliana Rancic, the multitasking cable TV star whose recent cancer battle put her life and career in the spotlight, will once again take on hosting duties for the 2012 Miss USA competition.

Rancic -- who co-anchors E! News and Fashion Police while also starring in Giuliana & Bill on the Style Network -- will join Bravo's Andy Cohen onstage for a second year in a row.

"Psyched to host Miss USA again with my friend @giulianarancic," Cohen tweeted. "See u in Vegas in June, lady!"

Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, said in a statement: "Andy and Giuliana's charisma and energy are a great fit for us, and it was obvious they had a lot of fun together at Miss USA last year. We are happy to have them back."

The Miss USA competition will air June 3.
