Heidi Klum was caught in the middle of an awkward protest.

Two topless female protestors ambushed the stage during the season 8 finale of Germany's Next Top Model on Thursday, as reported by The New York Daily News. The words, "Heidi Horror Picture Show," were written on their chests. Photos show security guards escorting the screaming ladies out in an attempt to end the chaos. The photos can be seen here

It is unclear what the two females were trying to protest but both are part of the feminist group Femen. The group has targeted fashion shows before, including a Versace show on Feb. 24, 2012 during fashion week in Milan, according to India Times.

While the scene was edited out of the live broadcast, Klum did have a few words to say about it, according to Us Weekly

"I have just been seeing boobies in front of me. Too bad it happened at this special moment," she said.

Her joke was pretty much all the supermodel had to say about the incident. Following the show she didn't acknowledge the protest on Twitter, and instead, gave kudos to the night's performers. Psy, Robin Thicke and Bruno Mars all hit the stage.

"We love your song @robinthicke been dancing to it all day," she tweeted after the show.

"Thank you for a great performance on my show last night in Germany," she tweeted to Bruno Mars. "You are a really cool dude!"

She also retweeted a sweet message Psy wrote to her.

"@HeidiKlum stopped by my green room and said 'Thank U Psy.' She's so beautiful and nice at the same time," he tweeted.

Despite the unexpected events, the night ended on a good note. The 16-year-old contestant Lovelyn Enebechi was the winner of season 8 of Germany's Next Top Model.
