First Lady Michelle Obama will match wits with David Letterman when she makes her first appearance on the Late Show.

Obama is scheduled to grace Letterman's stage on March 19, where she'll celebrate the one-year anniversary of Joining Forces, an organization she launched with Second Lady Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, to support military families across the country.

While CBS acknowledges this is the first time Obama will sit in Letterman's hot seat, the first lady is a late night show veteran. She appeared on Jimmy Fallon's Late Night and and recently visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote other causes.
