Kim Zolciak-Biermann's 4-year-old son, Kash Kade Biermann, has been released from the hospital after suffering from a dog bite last weekend that resulted in "very traumatic injuries."

Zolciak made the announcement on her Instagram on Monday where she posted a photo of Kash's older 5-year-old brother, KJ, holding his bandaged hand. "First and [foremost] THANK YOU for all your prayers they were heard and Kash is going home today earlier than expected," the reality television star wrote in the caption.

"Thank you for all your comments, tweets, emails and texts," she added. "We honestly felt all the positive energy you guys were sending and we couldn't be more grateful. Praying for a full speedy recovery."

Zolciak's eldest daughter, Brielle Beirmann, 20, also shared the amazing news on her Twitter saying: "Kash is so strong."

The TV personality broke the news on her social media account on Sunday, according to People. Zolciak posted a photo of her husband, Kroy Beirmann, holding their son's hand while laying in a hospital bed covered in a blanket. She then continued to note that Kash spent a couple of hours in the operating room from the dog bite injury.

Unfortunately, she did not reveal or disclose any other details regarding the incident, particularly whose dog it was, as noted by New York Daily News.

Many family members and people who are close to Kash stood by his side during the accident last weekend. "My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled together and held each other up," Zolciak said on her Instagram on Sunday.

Because of what happened, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star had to cancel her appearance on last Sunday's "Watch What Happens Live" with host Andy Cohen. No official word yet on when she will make her guesting on the show. More updates about the matter should surface in the coming days or weeks.
