Selena Gomez appears to be on the verge of releasing yet another single.

Following the debut of "Bad Liar" weeks ago, the 24-year-old singer and actress returned to social media where she shared a photo of herself sitting in the middle of the road and teased the possible name of her next track.

"Fetish," Gomez wrote in the caption of her July 6 photo on Twitter.

For the past several weeks, Gomez has been focused solely on her music on Twitter and only shared a couple of posts that weren't related to "Bad Liar." Now, however, she appears to be ready for her next track and if fans have it their way, they'll be hearing her new music sooner rather than later.

In response to Gomez's mysterious tweet, fans weighed in with comments demanding the singer release the track "now." Others shared memes and gifs expressing their excitement.

Gomez began working on her new album around this time last year but after experiencing anxiety and depression, she opted to put her career on hold as she tended to her emotional issues.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Gomez told People magazine in a statement last August. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues,” she added.
