Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is ready to get married and start a family.

Ahead of the highly anticipated Jersey Shore reunion special, Sorrentino, who has also appeared on Dancing With The Stars and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, opened up about his future with his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Pesce.

“Lauren, my college sweetheart, and I have been together on and off over 10 years,” he explained during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Friday. “Four years in college before Jersey Shore and then we got back together after Jersey Shore and it’s been about four years now again.”

“One hundred percent in the next number of months I’d like to try to surprise my sweetheart [with an engagement] and also trying to work on a little Situation of my own. I mean, Snooki has two kids, Jenni has two kids, and I believe Pauly has one as well. So, I kind of want to throw my hat in the ring here 'cause they have some really cool aunts and uncles,” he continued.

Once Sorrentino becomes a father, he will surely get plenty of advice from his co-stars and praised Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley for being "awesome mothers" to their children.

“I would just love for all the kids to hang out together and grow up together. It would be awesome!” he said.

As for the upcoming Jersey Shore reunion special, Sorrentino confirmed the news and expressed his excitement.

“There definitely is a reunion-style situation coming,” he said on Friday. “I mean, 100%. Everyone is just so excited to be working together again.”

A premiere date has not yet been set for the upcoming Jersey Shore reunion special but according to Entertainment Tonight's report, it will air on the E! Network.
