Jenelle Evans reportedly miscarried a child years ago due to an alleged assault at the hands of her former husband, Courtland Rogers.

As fans may have heard, the Teen Mom 2 star recently opened up about her alleged physical altercation with Rogers in her new memoir, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, and now, new details about the incident have been revealed.

In court papers obtained by Radar Online from Brunswick County District Court, an arrest warrant for Rogers’ arrest was issued on January 11, 2013 due to allegations of assault on a female and battery of unborn child.

“The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Jenelle Rogers, a female person, by grabbing her by her hair and slamming her against the wall,” the warrant read. “The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did commit a battery on a pregnant woman Jenelle Rogers.”

A second arrest warrant was also issued for assault on a female from another incident and days later, a third was issued.

“The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Jenelle Rogers, a female person, by grabbing her hair, smashing her head against the floor and wrestling her attempting to take her vehicle keys” the warrant read. “The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did commit a battery on a pregnant woman Jenelle Rogers.”

Rogers was ultimately arrested on March 5, 2013.

Still, Rogers insisted during an interview weeks ago that he never laid a hand on his former wife.

“I never in my life have hit her,” he said. “I never touched her. If we were ever fighting I made sure she wouldn’t hit me. I never swung or hit her or anything. That is the God’s honest truth.”
