When Jimmy Fallon takes over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2014, there will be a new title given to the legendary show, NBC said on Tuesday.

What is now known as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno will be changed to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, according to a new report on Deadline. The "Starring" title was used before Leno or Conan O'Brien's stints on the show, for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

The "with" title has been used for most late night talk shows for the last decade, such as Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will premiere in February 2014 with the new Late Night with Seth Meyers premiering within the same timeframe.

Producers were also announced for the new Tonight Show by NBC Tuesday. Amy Ozols will serve as producer after being a writer on Fallon's Late Night show since 2009.

"It's been so fun working with Amy these past four years -- she's been a standout writer and producer since we started 'Late Night,'" Fallon said today. "She puts so much thought and care into everything she does and we share the same vision about making the best television that we can produce. I know she'll put that same intelligence, cleverness and care into The Tonight Show. This is exciting."

Ozols has written many well-received sketches for Late Night, including Game of Desks, a parody of Game of Thrones and the many Real Housewives parodies. She also wrote Fallon's opening number during his Emmy hosting stint in 2010.

Saturday Night Live creator/executive producer Lorne Michaels will be the new Tonight Show executive producer.

On Ozols, Michaels said, "She is brilliant. I think she is the right choice to lead The Tonight Show into the future."

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will premiere at 11:35 p.m. in February 2014.
