Catelynn Lowell shared a shocking and disturbing Twitter post with her fans and followers on Friday and announced she was entering into a treatment program.

In her post, the Teen Mom OG star, who is married to co-star Tyler Baltierra, said that because she was having suicidal thoughts and contemplating “every way possible to commit suicide,” she felt there was no other option other than to check herself into rehab.

“I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself. On November 17th I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole,” Lowell admitted to Radar Online.

As the report revealed, Lowell endured a rehab stint in 2016 after confirming struggles with post-partum depression following the birth of her second daughter, Novalee Reign, in January 2015.

As she begins to seek treatment, Lowell, as always, has the love and support of her husband, who took her to treatment last night.

“Thank God I have a support system and a husband and a daughter. Thank God I am self-aware,” she said. “I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better. This won’t last forever.”

Lowell also offered an encouraging statement to others who may also be suffering from depression or having suicidal thoughts. As she noted, those who are struggling aren't alone.

“This world needs all of us in it! We are all here for a reason. Thank you for your support during this tough time," she said.

Lowell and Baltierra first gained fame when they appeared in the first season of 16 & Pregnant. At that time, Lowell was pregnant with their first child, daughter Carly, but chose adoption for her because she didn't have a stable environment to bring her into. Years later, after landing jobs in their hometown, Lowell and Baltierra welcomed their second child while filming Teen Mom OG.

Just months after the birth of Novalee Reign, Lowell and Baltierra got married among their family, friends, and co-stars in Michigan.
