'The Good Wife' Season 5 Spoilers: Carrie Preston's Elsbeth Character Most Likely Returning? Details
Loyalists of CBS' hit crime drama, The Good Wife, continue to patiently wait it out for the popular show to make its highly anticipated return for Season 5.
One actress that will surely never be forgotten is Carrie Preston, who dons the role of Elsbeth on the TV series. While Good Wife fans would most certainly love to see more of her, she's currently limited by her obligations to the HBO network, which she is under contract with for True Blood.
Fortunately, although Preston's capacity for use is clearly limited, there seems to be more of Elsbeth to come in the future, as she recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the potential opportunity to return.
"I will say they have reached out to see if I'm available for a particular episode ahead of time. If I'm available then they will write for me, but it's not any kind of formal offer yet. I haven't seen any scripts. I think they're just now getting back to work. So it would be for something that we would shoot a couple of months from now," she explained.
Although nothing has been set in stone, The Good Wife will reportedly begin production on its new episodes in New York City in July, according to Carter Matt. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the TV series.
