Leslie Bibb To Lead ABC Comedy Pilot 'Man Of The House' With Alyson Hannigan

ABC casts Leslie Bibb to costar in the comedy series Man of the House, co-produced with The Jackal Group and Kerry Washington's Simpson Street.

Man of the House revolves around two divorced sisters who live in the same house with their respective kids. They have no male figure in the house, and so the eldest son will act as the head of the family.

Bibb will play the role of Charli, "a beautiful, narcissistic, possibly sociopathic man-eater who wakes up every morning looking for a fight because it's the only thing that makes her feel alive." Alyson Hannigan, on the one hand, will play Bibb's on-screen sister. She was tapped to join the show in early March.

Man of the House is written by Frank Pines (Baby Daddy) and Vijal Patel (The Middle) and directed by Richie Keen (It's Always Sunny).

This is not Bibb's first show with ABC. Back in 2012, she appeared in GCB, also a comedy series which was axed early. She also stars in American Housewife, although her major role did not come until she played Brooke McQueen in the show Popular.

Aspiring Career And Love Life

While Bibb's TV career is a budding success, her relationship with SAG awardee Sam Rockwell is also taking its smooth course. In a speech following his receipt of the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Rockwell quickly acknowledged his girlfriend for 11 years.

"My beloved Leslie Bibb who puts up with me. I love you, baby. I love you," Rockwell said.

When asked what makes their relationship last long, Rockwell bravely said it was communication and good sex.

"And a healthy sense of humor," the 43-year-old actress added.

In the 90th Academy Awards, the 49-year-old actor wore a Leslie Bibb cufflinks by David Yurman. The piece of jewelry is reportedly worth $5,500 and took a month to customize. Rockwell wore it during the awards night coupled with his Prada tuxedo and Christian Louboutin footwear.

Bibb was also her boyfriend's official date in this year's Golden Globes, to which the actor also bagged the best supporting actor recognition.

Apparently, the couple makes effort to dress complementarily in every occasion possible. Celebrity stylist Michael Fisher said that Rockwell and Bibb usually coordinate with each other with regard to the style prior to fitting.

"It was very important for all involved that they complemented each other," Fisher said.
