The cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is scheduled to participate in the season 8 reunion special this week in Los Angeles at an undisclosed studio.

Following a dramatic eighth season of the Bravo reality series, which has been plagued by feuds involving new cast member Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, a source claims tension is up among the cast members as they prepare to reunite.

“Tensions are running high,” an insider told Radar Online earlier this week. “Even though the first half of the season was rather dull, things quickly picked up in the second half, with the women choosing sides and allegiances.”

The stars will be spending long hours together for the anticipated episode.

“Filming is expected to go all day, and into the evening,” the source said.

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Has Found Herself In The Midst Of Drama

Mellencamp Arroyave joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last year and quickly butted heads with Dorit Kemsley. While the two women bonded momentarily over their lives as mothers of young children, it ultimately became clear that a true friendship was out of the question. During last week's episode of the show, Mellencamp Arroyave was seen discussing comments that Kemsley had made about Lisa Vanderpump and noted that Girardi had said (on camera) that she would be upset about Kemsley's comments if she were Vanderpump. However, after Girardi claimed she didn't remember saying so, she blasted Mellencamp Arroyave for suggesting she had "pretend amnesia."

The ladies have been at war ever since.

According to the insider, Mellencamp and Girardi “have been exchanging verbal barbs on social media after their blowout episode just aired." The insider also claims that the animosity between the two will only intensify once they come face-to-face at the reunion.

Lisa Vanderpump Is Too Busy For The Many Feuds Of 'RHOBH'?

While the women of the show continue to battle as the eighth season presses on, Radar Online's source has noted that Vanderpump's restaurants in Los Angeles have been keeping her quite busy. So, rather than take part in her co-stars' debates, she's been staying out of the drama and focusing on the positive things of her life.
