L.K. Bennett, a UK retailer whose outfits and shoes have often been seen on the Duchess of Cambridge - the former Kate Middleton - is opening its first New York store Friday.

Middleton and her sister Pippa have helped made the brand famous.

Sales of the store have increased 17 percent in the last year, according to the Financial Times. The period coincides with the time she has been married to Prince William.

The brand offers collections of shoes, clothing, handbags and accessories ranging from $150-$600. The New York store will open at the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle.

Most recently, the Duchess wore the luxurious brand's emerald Davina dress with the matching jacket for the first day of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations.

Middleton has also worn the brand's nude heels named "The Sledge" and the black Maddox wedges that were nicknamed "The Kate."

The retailer has recently opened stores in Atlanta, Chicago and Houston.
