Naomi Campbell returned to the runway for Paris fashion week when she graced the catwalk for Italian fashion brand Versace on June 30.

The 43-year-old supermodel opened the show wearing a black sequin jacket, marking the first time she has been in Paris since being attacked in France last December, Yahoo reported.

She honored and paid a tribute to creative director Donatella Versace's late brother, Gianni.

"I'm so happy to be here in Paris tonight to walk for Donatella," Campbell said. We've known each other over 25 years now. Straight away I felt like part of the family, everybody was so warm and supportive. And of course there was Gianni."

Campbell went on to praise Donatella's brother, who she said was a good friend to her.

"Apart from being one of the most inspirational and respected of designers of all time, he was like a brother to me...always there in good and bad times, the memory will never fade. So as you can tell this is an emotional evening for me. It really is a great privilege to be here," she added.

It's been 15 years since Campbell walked for Versace and she drew many cheers from the crowd as she strutted down the runway.

"I started this Atelier Versace collection by dreaming about the perfect aesthetic of the black-and-white era," Donatella said of her new line. "I wanted to make it new, and pictured a sexy and sophisticated woman with a strong attitude. Only a true icon like Naomi Campbell could open this show."

Meanwhile, model Jourdan Dunn, who has walked runways for top designers like Marc Jacobs and Chanel, claimed she was cut from Dior's Fashion Week because of her breasts.

"I'm normally told I'm cancelled because I'm 'coloured,' so being cancelled because off my boobs is a minor : )" the 22-year-old tweeted on June 30.

"Ahahahahahaha I just for cancelled from Dior because of my boobs! I [HEART] fashion #Couture," she also wrote.
