During Monday's episode of The Bachelorette Season 9, Desiree Hartsock shed tears when she learned that one of the seven suitors she took to Barcelona had a hidden agenda.

Hartsock, 26, learned from Kasey Stewart that James Case told the other suitors that if reached the top four, he has a great chance of ladning the lead in the next Bacherlor series.

Stewart also revealed that Case plans to use his celebrity from The Bachelorette to meet beautiful, rich women when he finishes taping the reality show.

Stewart reminded Case, during a heated exchange in Episode 6, about his fame-seeking agenda.

"You said if I can make it to the top four, I will make it as the next Bachelor," Stewart reminded him.

Case became so upset that he stood up and yelled, "That's not what I said! Get that through your mind!"

When Hartsock learned the news from Stewart, she decided to cancel the group date and instead met with Case in private. Case told the bridal stylist that an eliminated contestant made the comment and the rest of the suitors made up the story because they are threatened by him.

"I think they're threatened by me," said Case, who also accused his fellow contestants of ganging up on him.  He then said he has feelings for her and became emotional, shedding a few tears and causing Hartsock to cry.

"That's not why I'm here and if you think that, then I should go," Case said with tears on his face.

When Hartsock told him he could stay, the other suitors were shocked as Case returned to their room.

"Goodnight gentlemen," Case fumed as he walked to his bedroom.

The next day, Hartsock went on a one-on-one dinner date with Zak Waddell and she gave him a rose at the end of their successful meeting.

The following morning, Case had another heated argument with the other suitors, who were upset that he was still there. He later met with Hartsock and she cried once more when he tried to convince her that his intentions were sincere. The converstaion caused Hartsock to cancel the evening's scheduled cocktail party, whcih is usually held just before the elimination ceremony.

The show's host, Chris Harrison, reminded everyone at the elimination that there were seven suitors in total but only three roses on the table. Wadell was given a rose during his one-on-one date with Hartsock, which meant three suitors would be eliminated, he explained.

In the end, Hartsock eliminated Case, Stewart and Juan Pablo, a father and former professional soccer player.

Case was so upset he told the cameras, during his ride to the airport, he didn't know why he was eliminated and felt bullied by the other suitors.

The next episode of The Bachelorette will premiere on Monday, July 8 at 8 p.m. EST/7 Central on ABC.
