Jada Pinkett Smith reveals she regrets dating Will Smith while he was still married to his first wife, Sheree Fletcher.

The 46-year-old dancer recently launched her talk show, Red Table Talk, on Facebook, and her first guest was none other than Fletcher. While many people don't know, Smith's ex-wife and Jada are now in good terms, so the interview was not at all nasty.

While the two remained civil during the duration of the show, there were quite a few revelations left and right, which was just what is expected considering this is the first time the two publicized their sit-down. The biggest takeaway probably was Jada's remorse over her dating Smith while he was just separated from Fletcher.

While Fletcher and Smith were separated, they were yet to be divorced during the time Jada entered the scene. Now, the Girls Trip actress is expressing her regrets over the early days, which she described as "rough."

"Here's the one thing I will say in hindsight, because I did not understand marriage, I didn't understand divorce, I will say that I probably should've fell back," Jada said.

Furthermore, Jada admitted she was wrong to dive in after thinking that everything was done between Smith and Fletcher. Now that she is married, she said she finally understands the dynamics and even acknowledged her past wrongdoings, including acting insensitive after hurrying a co-parenting plan even though the then husband and wife were still reeling from their separation.

The I Am Legend actor and Fletcher got married in 1992. They were blessed with a son, Trey, who is now 25 years old. After three years, they have gotten divorced, and in 1997, Smith went on to marry Jada.

Nasty Exchange

While their recent sit-down proved that there is no bad blood already, Fletcher and Jada ultimately reminisced on how the nasty exchanges went on during the early days. At one point, the first wife cursed the actress and called her a "b**ch."

"I called back and happened to say, 'B-h, you livin' in the house I picked out.' And you said, 'It's my house now,'" Fletcher narrated.

While they refreshed their minds of their fights, the two have gotten emotional as well when the topic of parenting came up. Smith had stepped in in one instance and made it clear to Jada that it was Fletcher who is the mother.

"His take was, 'That is Trey's mother and that's just not your place,'" Jada narrated.

After that, when Jada and Fletcher met again, the former apologized, and they have become friends since then.
