Maria Menounos danced the quickstep Monday night on Dancing with the Stars with a rib injury but her performance still earned praises from the judges.

The judges praised her "frame" (maintaining body shape during the dance) and said it was "nearly spotless" and nearly perfect. Her quickstep dance earned 25 out of 30 points from the judges.

"Talk about change from last week to this week, huge improvement," judge Carie Ann Inaba told the Extra! host.

Menounos broke two ribs during rehearsals when she fell on the knee of her professional dancer partner Derek Hough.

Though the injury reportedly occurred one week prior to her first dance, it will take months to heal, according to US magazine.

"It happened about a week before the cha cha," Hough told the magazine last night. "But she's doing great."
