Khloe Kardashian says she will stop supporting People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, saying the organization condones bullying and harassment in the wake of a 'flour-bomb' attack on her sister Kim Kardashian for wearing fur.

Kardashian's comments on Monday come after an incident last week when an animal rights activist dumped flour on Kim at a perfume launch.

PETA praised the actions of the protester.

"While we weren't behind the flour delivery, we applaud the animal advocates who were," the organization said last week.

Kardashian also said she had learned that the activist "has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise."

"As you all know, I don't condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that," Khloe Kardashian said in a released statement . "I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won't be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise."

Celebrity site TMZ reported Monday that the activist in question "has a history of staging dramatic anti-fur protests in PETA's name."
