Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out returned to TV on Tuesday with a bang, after a six-year hiatus.

The show, which aired on MTV 2, helped the network achieve its best ratings ever. The improv comedy show averaged 1.1 million viewers during the premiere of its fifth season. The viewership is the highest for any show on MTV 2 in the network's history, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Just to celebrate #WildnOut success I am going to give my cell number out! Call me now and chop it up with your boy! 323.388.5208," Cannon wrote on his Twitter on Thursday.

Following the tweet, he wrote, "Obviously some of y'all are going to get the voicemail. My phone is ringing off the hook! I can only talk to one person at a time."

The comedian then explained that he received so many calls that his cellphone apparently broke.

The show's record numbers may be a result of Kevin Hart's appearance on the Season 5 premiere. The 33-year-old Think Like A Man star was full of jokes. He not only made fun of the show's host, Hart also joked about his attraction to Cannon's wife

"I love Mariah," he joked during the show. "I want Mariah."

Aside from Hart, the show will be full of celebrity guests this season. Lil DuVal from MTV's Guy Code, basketball player Amar'e Stoudemire as well as rappers Mac Miller, 2Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Joe Budden will appear on upcoming episodes.

Cannon spoke about another upcoming guest to VIBE in an interview published on Tuesday.

"I didn't expect French Montana to be as funny as he was," he said. "He had everybody dying."

Ain't That American With Lil Duval also pulled in decent ratings on Tuesday. The show premiered after Wild 'N Out and garnered roughly 800,000 viewers.
