Oprah Winfrey, known for ranking in the most exclusive interviews, confirmed reports that she will be the first talk show host to interview Lindsay Lohan post rehab.

Lohan, who is scheduled to leave Cliffside Malibu rehab at the end of July, will sit down with the top media host sometime in August.

It was also announced that the actress will be filming a documentary series for the Oprah Winfrey Network about her journey to rebuild her career and image. Even though it will start filming in August, it won't air until 2014.

"OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014," confirmed a spokeswoman from the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Lohan's mom and manager, Dina Lohan, thinks Oprah is the perfect mentor to help her daughter out while filming the series.

"Oh, it's fantastic. If anyone is going to help mentor you, it's going to be Oprah," Dina revealed to E! News.

The 27-year-old actress is currently serving her 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab after her June 2012 car accident. However, the rehab facility hopes that she remains longer.

"The treatment team wants Lindsay to stay for at least another 30 days because she didn't do her entire 90 days at Cliffside. Someone with her addiction and psychiatric issues needs extensive treatment...She is in a really good place right now, but her doctors want that to continue," a source explained to Huffington Post.

After her treatment, she will reportedly be getting her own place in New York and make her first red carpet appearance at The Canyons premiere at the Venice Film Festival in August.
