The Bachelorette's Hometown Date episode featured passionate kissing and crying, a shocking reveal and the return of Desiree Hartsock's brother Nate Hartsock.

Below is a recap of Desiree's rendezvous with each of her final four suitors, in their respective hometowns.

Zak Waddell: Desiree flew to Texas to meet Waddell's family. On their date, Waddell dressed as a penguin and rode around in a snow cone truck, giving out treats to kids in nearby schools. The bachelorette shed tears when Waddell's family sang a special song to her to help Zack win her affection, and he shocked the bridal stylist when he showed her his grandmother's ring and told her that he loves her.

Drew Kenney: Drew and Desiree went on a picnic for their hometown date, before she met his family. After Desiree met his relatives, Drew told his mother, in private, that he considers the bachelorette a "soul mate." Desiree also praised Drew, telling his father how much she loves his son's eyes, and later the pair shared a passionate kiss.

Chris Siegfried: Chris took Desiree to a park to play baseball for their hometown date. When she met his family, his father, who is a chiropractor, gave her an unexpected back adjustment. The date took a creepy turn when Chris' father made her lie face-down on his medical table and then tucked her shirt into the back of her jeans. He continued to show off his medical skills, cleaning Chris' nose with a syringe.

Brooks Forester: Desiree and Brooks went canoeing for their date in his hometown of Salt Lake City. After she met his large family of almost a dozen siblings, she had a private one-on-one chat with his mother. When Brooks' mom said she could see the love between them and asked whether Desiree would consider starting a family with him, the bachelorette said she was uncertain because Brooks admitted he wasn't sure if he was ready to settle down.

Nate Hartsock Return: After Desiree returned from her four hometown dates, she decided to meet her brother Nate to get some male advice about the four remaining suitors. Nate expressed his desire to meet all four men and judge them for himself before the Rose Ceremony.

Rose Ceremony Results: Desiree gave out the first two roses to Chris and Brooks and eliminated Zak after she picked Drew to round out her Top 3. Not only was Zak asked to leave the Bachelor Mansion, Desiree also returned his grandmother's ring. Drew was so upset that he threw the ring out the window of the limo on the way to the airport.
