Adrienne Bailon opened up about her breakup with Rob Kardashian and revealed what she did to get him to move on.

During Monday's episode of the talk show The Real, the co-host recalled the moment she made Kardashian think she was in a relationship with someone new. That, however, wasn't the truth.

The former Cheetah Girl began dating Kardashian in 2007 and the pair broke up two years later when she found out he cheated on her. Kardashian admitted to his infidelity on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians back in 2010. The show also documented Kardashian's attempt to win back his ex-girlfriend. But, Bailon didn't want to reconcile. During an episode of the show, Kardashian read an email presumably sent from Bailon's new boyfriend. In reality, there wasn't a new man in Bailon's life.

"It was not written from a boyfriend," Bailon said during The Real. "That was written by me and my girls sitting on the sofa one day deciding to ourselves 'well how do we make him stop calling me?' And we thought to ourselves, well the only way to make this guy maybe not call me anymore is if he thinks I have someone new."

Bailon, who said she was embarrassed by the fact that she was cheated on, also discussed what she wrote in the email.

"This is the new man in her life," she recalled writing. "Please stop calling every night. Please leave her alone. You know, you broke her heart. She would like to move on."

During their relationship, Bailon also got a tattoo dedicated to Kardasian. The ink is one the 29-year-old regrets, as she revealed on a previous episode of The Real.

"It's awful. Ten-letter last name 'Kardashian,' it's pretty bad," she said. "Now that is a ratchet tattoo. I made a very bad decision. Don't follow my example."

She's currenlty in the process of having it removed.
