It can be tough being a new parent. Your brain is literally rewired to be all about the baby, you get no sleep, and the little guy can't even actually tell you what's wrong, he just kinda cries and hopes you'll figure it out. That's why it's nice to see that new parents John Mulaney and Olivia Munn managed to get out of the house for Valentine's Day - and to The Superbowl, no less!

The couple looks like they got pretty good seats, with a partition to rest their drinks on and all, and we hope they got a nice break from diaper changing and walking Malcolm back and forth until he calms down. Of course, Munn still posted a picture of both her loves on Valentine's Day: This adorable photo of John asleep on the couch next to Malcolm is absolutely heart-melting. This is a classic Dad photo. Every Dad has a picture like this, and now Mulaney does too.

It's a shame Malcolm is too young to enjoy seeing his dad make history next Saturday, as he joins the Five-Timers Club on SNL - that is, the club of people who have hosted the famed comedy sketch show. The club now includes 24 actors, comedians, and musicians, including names like Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, Scarlett Johanssen (makes sense, given that she's married to senior cast member Colin Jost), Paul Rudd, Danny DeVito, Steve Martin, and more. Mulaney was never on the cast of SNL, but he was a writer there for many, many years, and there he met some of his best friends and closest collaborators, like Seth Meyers, Bill Hader, and even his buddy Pete Davidson ("Uncle Pete") later on.

Mulaney has been on a rocket into this club, because the first time he hosted SNL was only in 2019 - meaning he has hosted five times in the last four years (and really, it's more like three, given that the show was on hiatus during part of 2020.)

We can't wait to see what new material Mulaney has planned in his first big appearance since the birth of his son. He'll be hosting SNL on Saturday, February 26, with musical guests LCD Soundsystem.
