Pinkett-Smith appears to be in character for her role in the first snap as she donned a textured black leather jacket while her co-star sported her ex-CIA look.

The second photo shows the two actresses wearing comfortable clothes, seemingly filming their scenes.

According to Daily Mail UK, Queen Latifah's role on the show is a former CIA operative named Robyn McCall.

At the time of this writing, CBS has not confirmed whether Pinkett-Smith will be retained as one of the permanent cast members of the show as her role in the episode, which will air on February 27, is considered a guest appearance.

Per Entertainment Weekly, the actress will play the character of Jessie Cook, an unpredictable master thief that will help Latifah to retrieve a valuable painting.

This is not the first time the duo will work together as they previously starred in the 2017 film "Girls Trip" and 2008's "The Secret Life of Bees."

Pinkett-Smith's recent appearance comes two months after CBS issued a statement, saying Chris Noth will no longer be a part of "The Equalizer" after his allegations made rounds online.

"Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately," the statement reads.

Latifah later addressed the situation, saying it was "surreal," and Noth is going through a "personal thing" that he has to deal with.

Regarding the changes in the show to adjust for his character, the actress noted they are figuring out what they wanted to do creatively on the series, especially his role, as it became a big part of the show.

"My feeling is justice has to prevail regardless. I just want the right things to be done, you know?" she added. (via People Magazine)
