Roger Ashton-Griffiths is the most recent actor to be attached to the highly anticipated fourth season of HBO's Game of Thrones, as he's set to come aboard the program to don the role of Mace Tyrell.

According to Den of Geek, Ashton-Griffiths will be playing "the titular head of the Tyrell family."

The character's mother describes him as "The lord oaf of Highgarden." He is the father to Margaery and Loras.

The 56-year-old recently appeared on The Tudors and was also seen on Alfred Hitchcock's Grace Kelly biopic, which was titled Grace of Monaco.

In other Game of Thrones' news, News of Poland HAD reported that cast members Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger) were seen drinking some brewskies over the weekend in Reykjavik Island, Iceland, which is where the cast and crew will continue shooting until Aug. 1, stated the site.

Although no official launch date has been revealed, HBO's Game of Thrones is set to kick off its fourth season at some point in late March or in early April of 2014.
