Brian Laundrie Parents Sued: Gabby Petito Parents Found Evidence They Helped Son

Gabby Petito was slain by her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, seven months ago. The case has taken America, even beyond it, by storm.
Today's there is an update to the case, with Petito's parents reportedly seeking justice now in the only way they could - since Brian Laundrie is already dead, by suicide.
While there were already strong allegations that Brian was able to evade justice for so long because his parents were helping him way back, it is only now that Petitos' parents are finally suing on this account.
It's been reported that Petito's parents are suing Chris and Roberta Laundrie, claiming that they were aware of their son's involvement in the murder of their daughter and that they helped him depart the country.
Gabby's father, Joseph Petito, and mother, Nichole Schmidt, filed a complaint claiming that Brian used Gabby's phone after her death to send text messages so that it would appear that she was still alive and well.
According to Joseph and Nicole, in one of Gabby's texts "allegedly sent to her mom," she called her grandfather by his name, "Stan," This is not what they know their child would do.
In addition, Gabby's autopsy revealed that she died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck, as well as strangulation.

Brian Laundrie is said to have told his parents, Christopher Laundrie and Roberta Laundrie, that he had killed Gabby Petito on or around August 28, 2021, according to the documents.
Suspiciously, Christopher and Robert Laundrie had a meeting with Attorney Steve Bertolino on the same date. On September 2, 2021, they sent him a retainer.
To fool Nichole Schmidt into thinking that Gabrielle Petito was still alive, Brian Laundrie sent a text message using Petito's cell phone on August 30, 2021, saying that there was no service in Yosemite Park "The rest of the sentence follows.
What frustrated the grieving parents further was the recollection of when Gabby was found dead and they were in so much pain over the news, "the Laundrie family went on vacation to Fort DeSoto Park on September 6-7, 2021," the docs read.
"In an effort to avoid any contact with Nichole Schmidt, on or about September 10, 2021, Roberta Laundrie blocked Nichole Schmidt on her cellular phone such that neither phone calls nor texts could be delivered, and she blocked her on Facebook," the docs further revealed.
With the help of their counsel, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie even released the following statement on September 14, 2021, knowing full well that their son had murdered Gabrielle Petito in or around Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming already,
"It is our understanding that a search has been organized for Miss Petito in or near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. On behalf of the Laundrie family it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is reunited with her family," the docs read. This is not easy to accept for Gabby Petito's parents, whose grief knows no bounds.
