Bob Saget Had 'Long-Term COVID-19'? Wife Would Rather Stick With Autopsy

Bob Saget's widow is no longer entertaining other stories from the fact that her husband passed away after a fall and hitting his head at a hotel room. This is actually what the medical examiner's report said anyway, regardless of what a crew member is now claiming.
According to the crew, the late comic was no longer feeling good the night he died, asserting that the actor's hearing was off and that he had sore throat.
"The records released tell the entire story - that is, Bob passed away after a fall and hitting his head in his hotel room," the Saget family's attorney, Brian H. Bieber, shared in a statement to Page Six on behalf of the still grieving wife, Kelly Rizzo.
"Now that the medical examiner's and police department's records have been released after their respective thorough investigations, the Saget family would appreciate privacy to mourn in peace," the statement further read.
On Jan. 8, showrunner Rosalie Cocci reported to Orange County, Fla., police that Saget was not feeling well before taking the stage on Jan. 8. Cocci revealed that Saget allegedly revealed that he was suffering from "long-term COVID."
Reportedly, the actor had shared to her that his body is taking its own sweet time in recovering from the infection, although for the most part, he was already done with the virus. She specifically noted that the actor appeared all right during his performance, which lasted for almost two hours. She said he was even cracking jokes.
For her, the actor didn't sweat, lose a beat, or slur his words. Saget's performance was dynamic and energic, not likely to warrant a worry, she said.
The autopsy report acquired by Page Six verified Saget had the coronavirus when he died. It also revealed several skull fractures, brain hemorrhage and contusions, and that the actor died from "blunt head trauma."
His death on Jan. 9 was deemed an accident, with no foul play suspected. Before going to bed, Saget apparently slammed his head on the marble bathroom floor, police say. He was 65.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department released images of Saget's hotel room just earlier this week.
Less than a week after his death, he was buried in an emotional ceremony. The tribute was attended by several of his former co-stars, including John Stamos and Candace Cameron Bure. The Olsen sisters were present as well.
