Taylor Swift will soon be recieving an honorary doctorate from New York University, proving CONCLUSIVELY that she can do anything.
The singer-songwriter, according to an article on The Hollywood Reporter, will be receiving a Doctor of Fine Arts, honoris causa - which will be the first degree ever received by the phenom. She's been headlining tours since she was a teenager, so the star's jump from high school graduate striaght to doctor is the MOST Swiftian thing we have ever seen.

Before she receives the honorary degree and speaks at the NYU commencement on May 18th, Swift will be heading to the Grammys, where Evermore, the second of two pandemic albums the star released, is up for Album of the Year. The first of the two covid-era compositions, Folklore, took home the title prize last year.
If the singer comes out victorious this year, she will have won Album of the Year FOUR TIMES.
Then, a month later, she will (honorarily) BE A DOCTOR! LIKE, EXCUSE ME?! NAME SOMEONE COOLER, WE DARE YOU.
Swift will speak, alongside others, at the first NYU commencement ceremony since the pandemic. Andrew Hamilton, the NYU President, expressed his excitement about this upcoming event.
"I cannot overstate how thrilled I am to be coming together in person with graduates, parents, faculty, and honorees for NYU's Commencement. Since 2019, we have been deprived of Commencement's festive, communal joy, and its absence has been keenly felt...Few groups of graduates are more deserving of a celebration than these classes: their pursuit of their studies disrupted, isolated by a daunting pandemic, these classes - 2022, 2021, and 2020 - have distinguished themselves with their grit, grace, and forbearance.
