Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have done their best to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, but, behind the scenes, they are still going strong.

Alwyn alluded to the continuing strength of the very private couple during a recent media panel. The actor is currently starring in the up-coming series Conversations With Friends, based on a book of the same title by Sally Rooney. According to an article on BuzzFeed, he was asked while on the panel if he had ever had an open relationship. In his response he said, "People can do whatever they want that makes them happy. I'm obviously happy in a monogamous relationship."

We are glad that Alwyn and Swift are continuing on this happy and strong path after all of these years. Swift especially has had relationships unfairly dragged through the public eye in years past. The superstar said to Rolling Stone back in 2020, "that in knowing [Joe] and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids."

Many have tried to make arguments that the secrecy surrounding their relationship is strange, but the couple defends that is one of the most normal things they could do. Alwyn told The Journal that "I don't think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, therefore why should I...And then that is defined as being 'strangely private.' Fine. But I don't think it is ... I think it's normal."

We are so happy that their relationship is going so well! We can't wait to see Conversations With Friends in May 2022.
