It has been claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would go to the United Kingdom in order to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

But according to a royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a hidden agenda as to why they're even going to the festivities in the first place, after stepping down from their royal roles in 2020.

An expert on the royal family believes that a "generous read of this situation" would be that the couple's wish to support Her Majesty is of the utmost importance, despite the fact that they will not appear on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony.

However, according to Daniela Elser, an Australian journalist, she feels that the Sussexes are heading to the UK just for the attention they would receive there.

She asserted that it is because they wanted to "make nice just as the greatest royal PR event in a decade comes around."

Despite the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be taking part in the festivities on the balcony with the Queen, a spokeswoman for the couple has stated that they are honored and pleased to be attending the celebrations.

The writer has the opinion that it is "nothing short of remarkable" that the pair is prepared to take a supporting role and "sign on as supporting guest stars" in the show.

According to The Sun's account of her comments, she was quoted as saying, "This is Harry and Meghan being forced to accept a downgrade while the world looks on."

Christine Ross, host of the podcast "Royally Us," claims that the public won't see much of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and that they are expected to keep a low profile. This is due to the fact that it is rumored that they will only attend private celebrations to honor Queen Elizabeth II.

She mentioned on the podcast that even though the pair is planning to attend the festivities, "they're there, they're part of the family." However, this does not detract from the tale in any way.

The Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II is going to take place from June 2 to June 5. It will celebrate the record length of her reign, which has been 70 years. In addition to this, she recently surpassed Queen Victoria as the monarch of the United Kingdom with the longest reign in the history of the country.

The host of the podcast also mentioned that if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to be in the spotlight on the balcony, it is inevitable that they will be the focus of the headlines on the front pages of everything. This is something that Buckingham Palace reportedly does not want to happen.

After all, this whole thing is about the Queen, and not about any drama involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
