As part of their settlement with the Sussex Royal Foundation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were allegedly obliged to pay about $260,000 to a foundation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are paying out almost $244,000 since their MWX Foundation is in liquidation and has now paid its outstanding debt to an undisclosed non-profit organization.

According to the records, a creditor had filed a claim for $260,000.

A total of $164,000 was allegedly paid off last year when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex pledged that all of their obligations will be paid in full within the following year.

Per The Sun, the remaining $95,700 was paid at a later date, and the delay resulted in an additional penalty of $33,460 since "time charges surpassed the estimate."

The paper also said that $26,820 will be allocated to their legal counsel.

Companies House filings revealed in 2021 that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had authorized a voluntary liquidator to wind up the charity, dubbed the MWX Foundation. It was initially constructed in 2019.

However, once they altered the name, speculation over the name began. Many speculated that it may be the Markle Windsor Foundation or the Mountbatten Windsor Foundation.

However, a spokeswoman for Firms House declined to comment on the name change, explaining, "Unfortunately, we cannot comment on particular companies, or release such information." The firm can only provide this information upon written request."

However, according to the Daily Mail, MWX stands for Markle, Windsor, and X is a short form for Sussex.

But now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched Archewell, a new charity named after the Greek word "arche," which means "source of activity," and which also inspired the name of their three-year-old son, Archie.

Axed Netflix Show of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

In other Sussex news, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dubbed "naive" and "out of touch" by a source who believes they are unaware of how their Netflix subscription works.

After stepping aside from their royal duties, the pair inked an agreement with the streaming behemoth to establish a series of commercial possibilities, with the deal estimated to be worth $100 million.

However, the platform has canceled their upcoming show "Pearl."

According to The UK Express, the two may still be unsure of how the process of obtaining a program works.

"Executives believe Harry and Meghan seemed ignorant about how their arrangement would operate in certain ways."

"Certainly there was a perception that they assumed Pearl would just be presented and released," they continued.
