Luckily for James Franco, he can take a punch.

As the actor prepares to step into a verbal sparing match with Comedy Central, the network has him taking more of a physical beating in the latest ad for Franco's Roast.

Announced in July as the latest Roast victim, the Instagraming, poetry-writing, constantly smirking Franco seemed unconcerned about, or extremely resigned to, his fate at the hands of fellow actors and comedians when he released a video confirming his involvement in the Roast.

Along with getting to see Franco sucker punched in the new commercial, fans of Comedy Central's Roasts also get to find out that Franco's This is the End co-star will be leading the mayhem.

"I will be "Roastmaster" at the #FrancoRoast on @ComedyCentral. It's to help promote the Russian release of 'This Is The End,'" tweeted an excited Seth Rogan.

Who will be joining Rogan as he hurls jabs at the 35-year-old actor is still unknown.

With Franco's episode serving as the 13th installment in the Roast series, previous unfortunate guests included Joan Rivers, Donald Trump, David Hasselhoff, Roseanne Barr, and Charlie Sheen.

The program is set to air on Labor Day, Sept. 2, on Comedy Central.
