Prince Harry and Meghan Markle suffered a major snub when they joined Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Royal fans were infuriated after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their participation in the royal events following their exit from the monarchy. They believed that the duo would only outshine Queen Elizabeth II if they attended the celebrations.

But Buckingham Palace seemingly saw it coming already that it decided to place them in the second row during the service of thanksgiving for the Platinum Jubilee at St. Paul's Cathedral.

According to GB News host Alastair Stewart, their position was a visual snub from the royal family. Royal expert Angela Levin agreed with his statement, saying that the couple was furious at the "degrading" arrangement.

"They were in the second row, not behind the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge, but in the second row even behind people like the Wessexes. He wouldn't be there if the Queen didn't want him to be there - but to me, it was a visual snub. It was not a total snub. They got the proper royal car and they were escorted down the aisle," Stewart explained.

Levin purportedly noticed Prince Harry and Meghan looking irritated and fuming as they stayed in the second-row seats.

The royal biographer, who spent a year with the royal prince when she was making his biography, said that the Duke of Sussex was looking furious.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle No Longer Joining Platinum Jubilee Concert

Following the snub, it has been confirmed that the royal couple will no longer attend the star-studded concert at Buckingham Palace.

While it could spark new rumors, it was revealed that they chose to celebrate the first birthday of their daughter, Lilibet, as a family.

So far, several members of the royal family already confirmed their attendance, including Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall; Prince William and Kate Middleton; Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex with their children Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn; Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence.
