The teaser trailer for Bodies, Bodies, Bodies has been officially released, and we are already on the edge of our seats.

A24 comes out with exclusively wins, and, by the looks of it, Bodies, Bodies, Bodies will be no exception to that rule. The new film, starring Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson dances in the incredibly popular thriller-comedy realm. It chronicles the story of wealthy college graduates who watch their night go awry as a friendly game turns into an evening filled with homicidal consequences.

We've all played those sleepover games: Murderer, Mafia, Warewolf, the list goes on. All in all, no one is stranger to the somewhat mysterious, somewhat murderous sleepover game.

However, in this trailer, we see the stakes get higher, as the group's round of Bodies, Bodies, Bodies goes from a lighthearted game where people die through gentle back-taps to a real murder mystery when the power goes out and one of their friends winds up...well...dead.

This is one high stakes game.

It seems that the movie will follow a similar through-line to that of the game: The friend group is tasked with figuring out who the murderer is - but this time, it's for real.

In this new trailer, Pete Davidson states, "That would be so obvious if I were the killer." Which is either truthful, or a real hiding-in-plain-sight move. Either way, it sets a promising tone for the film: both hilarious and mysteriously gripping.

Bodies, Bodies, Bodies comes to theatres on August 5th. Do you think you can figure out whodunnit?
