Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married on Saturday, and Lopez sent out an email to confirm it!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have joined the ranks of celebrities that have had Las Vegas weddings. The couple has been in a thrilling on-again-off-again relationship since the early 2000s, but as of this weekend, the two have officially tied the knot.

The couple has been engaged since April, but this ceremony was small and surprising. How did fans find out about this intimate ceremony between the two? Well, naturally, Jennifer Lopez, ever the marketing queen of her own brand, sent out a newsletter.

In the letter, she informed her fans about the exciting nuptials and the details that surrounded the ceremony. The star wrote:

"We flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.

"We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed.)"

This marriage has been long-awaited by the world. To the couple, it was perfect. She addressed the approximately two decade long wait for this union in her letter:

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."
