Everything changed when J Balvin became a dad, in an interview with a news outlet, he said that he needs to keep up with the fresh style of his son because he does not want to be tagged as "boring" dad.

In modern-day era, dads are getting cooler and cooler.  J Balvin himself refuses to be labeled a traditional dad. Instead, he wants to redefine "Dad's" fashion, for a start.

"Being a dad is a huge role. It's a top priority," he exclusively told E! News. "But you still don't have to become or act like a dad. I don't want to start wearing boring clothes because that's how a dad is supposed to act."

Being a "cool" father is evident in the Latin Grammy winner's attire, as he easily dazzles in every ensemble, whether it's a tuxedo covered with a rainbow of jewels or an edgy cargo shirt.

It therefore comes as no surprise that the father of Rio, who is dating Valentina Ferrer, is an advocate and works to eradicate the stereotype associated with fathers.

As he put it, "I just want to be a cool dad. I'm still looking for what's next, for the new vibe, color, shapes."

The Colombian artist then continued, "I see him really fresh and I'm like, 'OK, I gotta keep up with you.'"

J Balvin, whose real name is Jose Alvaro Osorio Balvin, is also breaking the stigma by collaborating with Miller Lite to launch a BodegaWear clothing line, which includes "BOLD" varsity jackets, tees, and hoodies.

Definitely, they are not boring and old-school because the color choices mirror the award-winning's personality, as well as vibrant artwork and cool accessories.

When asked the reason behind this idea, he said that he wanted to "bring my DNA to Miller Lite"

J Balvin thinks that fashion is a way to express yourself without saying a word. and since he was a little kid, he used to wear clothes in a manner he wanted.

J Balvin believes that being "authentic to oneself" is important, even if others find your style to be difficult to understand.

He remembered how early in his career, his striking appearance was not well received. He received criticism for his clothing, but he persisted in dressing how it felt right to him.

J Balvin highlighted that limiting people's sense of style, particularly when it comes to a macho mentality is "Old school. We're in the future right now."
