Adin Ross asserted that he paid Playboi Carti a substantial sum for an appearance on his Kick stream, despite the Atlanta rapper making a brief appearance, he didn't stay for an extended period and spoke many one-word answers.

A Travis Scott fan account initially disclosed that Carti, born Jordan Terrell Carter, the artist behind 'Whole Lotta Red,' would appear on Ross' show post the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday for $50,000.

Ross, 23, promptly corrected the amount, stating it was actually $2 million in cash along with a Ferrari. Additionally, he took the opportunity to promote Carti's upcoming album and the upcoming stream.

SAN BERNARDINO, CA - DECEMBER 16: Rapper Playboi Carti performs onstage at the Rolling Loud Festival at NOS Events Center on December 16, 2017 in San Bernardino, California.

The artist associated with '2024' eventually made an appearance — albeit two hours later than anticipated — with a massive audience of over 500,000 eagerly awaiting. During the encounter, Ross and Carti, 28, who wore a black mask during his appearance, engaged in conversation, with Carti expressing love for his fans.

Shortly after receiving a duffle bag full of money from Ross, Carti departed, making his appearance brief.

Following Carti's swift exit, Ross received a phone call from 21 Savage, who disclosed that the full $2 million was not paid to Carti. The 'American Dream' rapper appeared bothered by the situation, expressing discontent that Carti received any payment at all.

Recently, 21 Savage, 31, faced accusations of scamming Ross during a card game, allegedly involving marked cards supplied by someone on his team that he was reportedly unaware of. The intention was purportedly to enable Savage to win a substantial amount of money.

In response, Ross shared with Kai Cenat that the Grammy winner took responsibility for the situation and did the right thing by compensating him with $250,000.
