North West is following in the footsteps of her dad, Kanye West, in the music scene.

During the listening event for Ye's "Vultures 2" album in Phoenix on Sunday, the 10-year-old announced that she would drop an album soon.

"I've been working on an album, and it is called 'Elementary School Dropout,'" the eldest child of ex-couple Kim Kardashian and West announced, as seen in a video circulating online. North's announcement was met with loud cheers from the event's crowd.

The title of her upcoming album seems to pay homage to her dad's debut studio album, "The College Dropout."

Per Vibe, if North West drops her album this year, it would be 20 years from when her dad released his album in February 2004.

After Instagram account 2cool2bl0g uploaded the video of North's announcement online, netizens quickly shared their thoughts and reactions.

"It's already a classic," commented one netizen.

"She's really too cool for school," someone else wrote.

"I hope she drops her album on time," another quipped, seemingly referencing the delayed release of West's collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign.

"Yes! It's already No. 1," claimed a different netizen.

While many wrote positive comments regarding North's record, some expressed concerns.

"Kim and Kanye are p*mpin' this child out, and it's sad," one user alleged.

"[Kanye] will exploit any and everything. No morals, no boundaries," a different person claimed.

In other news, the big sister of Saint, Chicago and Psalm entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart in February through her feature in Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's "Talking."

Her mom and dad even took to their separate Instagram Stories to share how proud they were of their eldest child by sharing a screenshot of Chart Data's tweet about North's milestone.

"Talking," one of the 16 songs on "Vultures 1," reportedly charted at No. 30 on the music chart.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning rapper posted a now-deleted photo and video showing a storyboard made by his daughter back in January.

The storyboard detailed a music video plan for a song featuring North West, which had the lines, "You don't want no problems, you just talking / I love it here, we gonna take over the year / It's your bestie / Miss Miss Westie."

The music video turned out to be for "Talking."
