The singer, real name De'Mario Monte Thornton, shared many factors led to the group's demise.

"Financial problems, family problems, feud between the guys," Raz-B admitted in the episode. "It was a combination of many things. Us getting older. Fizz wanting to go solo and getting a solo deal first."

The dancer, 38, called out ex-bandmate Lil Fizz's alleged desire to leave the group for a solo career instead, causing strife between him and other group members.

"Wanting to renegotiate with management and our production team," Raz continued. "Felt like being controlled, wind up getting as far away as possible so it felt you were in the driver's seat."

He revealed how his fellow B2K group members; Omarion, J-Boog, and Lil Fizz, were seeking more control over their careers as they started to flourish individually as artists.

"When you're a kid, it was such a big deal to be broken up," he added.

Lead singer Omarion interviewed with the New York Post where he shared his view on why the group separated. The singer, 39, stated that he had "matured" and called the "lack of communication" and "lack of knowledge" contributed to the band's downfall.

B2K, an acronym for Boys of the New Millennium, was an American boy band from 1998 to 2004, and again from 2018 to 2019. Their self-titled debut album was released in March 2002 and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

On March 19, 2010, Raz-B released his first mixtape 'Boy 2 King.' The Cleveland, Ohio, native went on tour in China the following year.
