Ice Spice allegedly blasted Nicki Minaj as "ungrateful" and "delusional" during a purported text message conversation with the "Munch" rapper's self-proclaimed ex-"best friend" last year.

On Friday, artist and content creator Baby Storme -- who last month threatened to expose her alleged former best friend -- took to X, formerly Twitter, to leak a series of texts she allegedly exchanged with Ice Spice around May 2023. Enstarz could not independently verify the authenticity of the text messages.

The purported exchange, which has garnered over 8 million views on X, appeared to revolve around Minaj wanting a larger share of the publishing rights for at least one of her and Ice Spice's collaborations.

Ice Spice and Minaj dropped two collabs in 2023: "Princess Diana" in April and "Barbie World" from the "Barbie" movie soundtrack in June of that year.

In the alleged messages, a person labeled "Isis 2nd Phone" claimed a man named James -- potentially Ice Spice's manager James Rosemond Jr. -- told her "Nicki's old manager of 11 years" thought Minaj was "being unfair" by "asking for too much."

The person purported to be Ice Spice -- whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston -- then allegedly complained about Minaj being "hard" to negotiate with because she "doesn't let [people] talk."

When Baby Storme asked if she believed they would be able to reach a compromise, Ice Spice allegedly responded that she hoped the matter would be resolved soon, considering they would be dropping their collaboration for the "Barbie" soundtrack the following month.

In the purported texts, Ice Spice allegedly claimed that she was the one who brought the "opportunity" to appear on the soundtrack to Minaj.

The "Boys a Liar Pt. 2" hitmaker allegedly went on to say she was asked to do a "Barbie" song solo but chose to invite Minaj because she has been associated with the doll brand for years.

However, the purported messages claimed that Minaj didn't see the alleged feature invitation as a favor.

"She doesn't even see that as me bringing her something. [She's] kinda like my mom," Ice Spice allegedly wrote. "Ungrateful [and] delusional."

According to the alleged texts, Ice Spice cut ties with Minaj over the disagreement and accused the "Anaconda" rapper of gaslighting her and being "jealous" that she owns all her masters.

Though it is unclear if the text message exchange was real, this did not stop thousands of X users from weighing in on the drama.

Some slammed Baby Storme over leaking her alleged text messages with Ice Spice.

"The way she trusted you with her opinion and she felt like you were her safe space and you are leaking all her messages. [You're] a horrible serpent and deceitful person please seek help. SERPENT THOU ART LOOSE," one person commented under Baby Storme's tweet.

"I feel like this is a really [s****y] thing for you to do as an ex-friend. She clearly trusted you and you're just [outing] her business. Bad vibes. This is not the serve you think it is, you look pathetic," another claimed.

A few blasted Ice Spice for her alleged comments about Minaj, with one person calling her "fake."

But others sided with her in the alleged disagreement, claiming Minaj "needs to humble down."

"Baby Storme [is] sacrificing her career to give us hot tea. Not all heroes wear capes. This Nicki Minaj Ice Spice tea is crazy. Once again, Nicki proves she's the problem [because] how the hell was she trying to get all of Ice's publishing over a collab? Ungrateful and delusional," another claimed.

Meanwhile, a number of X users refuted the claims that Ice Spice allegedly gave the "Barbie" opportunity to Minaj, pointing out that the movie's producers wanted the "Starships" hitmaker to be part of the soundtrack from the get-go.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year, "Barbie" soundtrack producer Kevin Weaver said, "From the very beginning, we had felt like having Nicki, who is Barbie essentially, be a part of this thing."

According to Weaver, they encountered some trouble while trying to get Minaj on the soundtrack but eventually managed to make it happen with the help of director Greta Gerwig.

"We went to Greta and asked Greta if she would write a letter to Nicki, and Greta wrote this beautiful note to Nicki and basically said like, 'You are Queen Barb and when I set out to make this film, as I was thinking of artists, you were the first artist that really came to me as somebody that I felt was going to be an important collaborator and contributor to this,'" Weaver told the outlet. "I sent that letter to Nicki and the next morning Nicki hit us back and said that she was 100 percent in."
