Bob's Stores is closing all its 21 stores across the country after recently filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The Connecticut-based discount clothing and footwear retail chain has filed for bankruptcy in June, citing "liquidity crisis" as the reason.
"We regret that our financial position necessitated the liquidation of Bob's Stores. Bob's has been a stalwart of our local communities for nearly 70 years, and we know our customers remember us as having been there for major moments in their lives," Dave Barton, president of Bob's Stores, said in a press release.
Liquidation sales are now underway at locations across six states on the East Coast. Items are at 30% to 70% off across all departments, while select store furniture and equipment will also be for sale, CBS News noted.
