A slew of rappers have responded to Kendrick Lamar's verse on the Big Sean track Control, including Lupe Fiasco, B.o.B Cassidy, Joel Ortiz and Papoose.

Kendrick Lamar 'Control' 'King of NY' Verse Sparks New York Rap Debate: Big Daddy Kane Speaks [LISTEN]

On the record, Lamar claims to be the "king of New York" and vows to artistically "murder" his competition in hip hop.

"I'm usually homeboys with the same ni**as I'm rhymin' with / But this is hip hop and them ni**as should know what time it is / And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale / Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake / Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you ni**as," the 26-year-old raps.

Surprisingly, none of the emcees mentioned on Lamar's verse has taken exception to his lyrics. On Tuesday Rick Ross' protégé Meek Millz appeared on Philadelphia's Power 99 FM radio station and said that Lamar's verse wasn't a diss to the rappers he mentioned.

"It definitely wasn't insulting," Mills said. "Kendrick Lamar, I don't think he was trying to insult any of us, you know. We all know each other personally. There were a lot of names that weren't mentioned ... It was a competition thing. I live for competition. I'm not going to make a diss record for Kendrick Lamar. But if he wants to get competitive, we're going to have some fun."

Still some rappers, none of which were mentioned on the song, felt the need to respond to the Compton, Cal. native's bold claims. Below are some of the response tracks to Control, and check out the slideshow of photos from rappers who fired back at Lamar.
