Fergie's name change was news to everyone including her husband, Josh Duhamel who admitted that he found out about it online. 

The couple is expecting their first child together any day now, and Josh revealed that he was shocked, yet happy that she altered her last name. 

"I actually found out [through the media]," he told omg! while attending the Valspar Hearts and Hands for Habitat charity campaign. "It was so sweet. It was her plan for a while, but she finally found the time. When the baby comes she wanted all of us to have the last name. It was very sweet."

Josh confessed that although this is a happy time of his life, he is very nervous about being a father. 

"Everyone has advice, but I'm always happy to hear it," he told omg! when asked if he's received any good daddy tips from his famous friends. 

The actor did praise his wife for being a tough cookie and carrying a baby for 9 months. 

"She has really taken to [pregnancy]," he said. "It's unbelievable. It's been pretty [drama free]. She's happy, seems to be in great spirits, and is more beautiful than ever."

Josh said that he's going to take time off from work to help his wife with the baby. 

"Right now it's baby time, so I'm going to be home," the actor explained. "Then I've got a bunch of projects that are in development that we're producing with my company, which I'm really excited about. So it's going to give me some time to be home for that."

Meanwhile, Fergie flaunted her growing baby bump while celebrating her baby showers. 

Enstars reported earlier that on Saturday, the singer posed happily next to her fellow Black Eyed Peas members, will.i.am and apl.de.ap.

"#UncleLove," she captained the picture via Facebook, noting that she was missing Taboo.
