American Idol finally has three members for its season 13 judges panel.

Luke Gottwald, also known as Dr. Luke, is officially on the Fox show following a week of rumors, according to E! Online.

The 39-year-old musician and producer was chosen after the Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am passed on the job. However, Gottwald's performance experience coupled with his work on such hits as Kelly Clarkson's "Since You Been Gone," Pink's "Who Knew," and Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl," the new judge will have an extensive music industry perspective to lend in judging Idol candidates.

Following the dismissal of last season's panel, numerous names have been batted around for the open positions. Although early rumors pointed to an Idol alum led team of judges, the long-running competition show opted to bring back former judges Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban https://www.enstarz.com/articles/23198/20130809/american-idol-judges-season-13-ryan-seacrest-teases-announcement-keith-urban-back.htm.
