Singer Miley Cyrus flaunted her toned tummy as she arrived for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in New York on August 25, 2013. During the red carpet pre-show, Cyrus told MTV that fans can expect plenty of twerking during the show.

During the show, Cyrus is set to collaborate with Robin Thicke to his smash hit Blurred Lines, sources confirmed to Us Weekly. (Watch her VMAs 2013 performance video below.)

"They're friends and she loves the song," a source said. A second insider adds, "It's amazing. She comes out of a giant bear wearing a very provocative outfit."

"Today's already the f-cking best day ever! Just wait till VMAs tonight," the 20-year-old star wrote via Twitter hours before the big show.

Cyrus is nominated for Best Female Video, Video of the Year and Best Editing for "We Can't Stop." Thicke's "Blurred Lines" featuring T.I. and Pharrell is in the running for Video of the Year, Best Male Video and Best Collaboration.

The annual show will go down live on August 25th at 9p.m. EST from Brooklyn, New York.

This year, there is a pre-show performance by Ariana Grande and Austin Mahone.

The main show is stocked with huge names like Bruno Mars, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry, Kanye West and the winner of this year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Justin Timberlake.
