Justin Timberlake was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards. The Take Back The Night singer was presented the award by late night host Jimmy Fallon.

"I don't deserve this award, but I'm not going to give it back. I'm taking this home," Timberlake said during his speech.

"Half of my moon man that I ever won, I won with those four guys over there," he said pointing at his NSYNC bandmates.

The award served as a commendation for his role in such video excellence as “Mirrors,” “Sexy Back,” and “Tunnel Vision.”

The award honors artistry and innovation in music videos. Previous recipients include the eponymous Jackson himself, Madonna, Britney Spears, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others.

As a solo artist and member of *NSYNC, Timberlake has taken home 14 Moonmen, placing him second all-time only to Madonna.
