Farrah Abraham on Sunday addressed speculation that she will join the cast of Dancing with the Stars for season 17 and hinted that her place in the show's lineup - if any - will be announced very soon.

The former Teen Mom star was all smiles when answering a question about rumors that she will join the ABC dancing competition. She told Enstars on Sunday at the InTouch after-party for the VMAs that though she is not "not commenting on that one right now," fans will know if she is part of the cast this week. She did not specify a day but simply said, "You'll find out this week."

Abraham made it clear that the reveal will be made at the end of August, though the official cast is usually unveiled early September on Good Morning America. Previous reports noted that the Backdoor Teen Mom star was approached by the show's executives about joining the DWTS cast. 

If she does in fact join the show's lineup, Abraham will not be the first TV reality star to do so. Others in her position that previously competed on the show include Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Kim Kardashian, Kate Plus Eight star Kate Gosselin, Bachelors Sean Lowe and Jake Pavelka, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump. 

Professional dancer Derek Hough confirmed that he would be returning to DWTS for season 17 following his win last season with his partner, country singer Kellie Pickler. 

Season 17 of DWTS is scheduled to premiere on Monday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
