Survivor host Jeff Probst recently revealed that there was a last-minute replacement on the upcoming season, Blood vs. Water.

RC Saint-Amour, who came in 11th place on Survivor: Philippines, was originally supposed to return for Survivor: Blood vs. Water, according to a Thursday report by Entertainment Weekly. Saint-Amour flew out to the Philippines be a part of the upcoming season this summer with her father Craig as part of the returning players vs. loved ones concept.

"We had our 10 pairs out here and we were good to go," Probst explained. "We got out here and RC and her father Craig - who we loved and wanted back on the show, RC for obvious reasons. Her dad is just as good."

However, the Survivor medical team checked Craig's blood pressure right before filming began and discovered that it was too high for him to play. The duo was flown back home mmediately, unable to compete in the game.
